We employ a high-performance PVC formulation with a multi-layer composite process. High-molecular-weight plasticizers prevent surface stickiness, while added anti-aging agents delay powdering and brittleness. A layered coating technology ensures strong adhesion, core performance, and durable protection, significantly extending tent lifespan.Poor Environmental Temperature Adaptability:
Low-Temperature Solution: The addition of cold-resistant plasticizers and elastomer modifiers significantly lowers the glass transition temperature, enabling the tent material fabric to maintain flexibility, impact resistance, and crack resistance even at -25°C to -30°C.High-Temperature Solution: High melt-strength PVC resin is used together with heat-resistant plasticizers and cross-linking agents, raising the marquee material’s heat deformation temperature. This ensures dimensional stability and prevents sagging or permanent deformation under high summer temperatures (e.g., above 70°C).
Rainwater-induced Coating Delamination:
Apply anti-wicking treatment to the polyester base fabric to reduce water penetration. A low-viscosity penetrating base coat formula fully infiltrates fabric fibers under pressure, curing to form a strong mechanical “anchoring” effect. This achieves a durable physico-chemical bond between coating and fabric, resisting repeated rainwater penetration and preventing delamination.Excessive Focus on Durability Leading to Excess Weight:
By strategically selecting marquee fabric weight and base cloth specifications, tear resistance and waterproof performance are enhanced while reducing overall weight by 15%–30%.Seam Leakage & Insufficient Heat Seal Strength:
High-frequency (HF) welding or hot-air welding technology is employed. This process melts the marquee material itself to create seamless joints, completely eliminating needle holes and achieving 100% waterproof seams. Dedicated welding strips (made of the same material as the tent fabric) and optimized welding parameters (temperature, pressure, speed) are applied to ensure seam peel strength meets or exceeds that of the base fabric, providing excellent weather resistance and durability.Environmental, Odor, and Flame Retardancy Limitations:
An eco-friendly plasticizer solution that is entirely phthalate-free (Non-Phthalate) and uses high-purity raw materials is provided to eliminate irritating odors at the source, meeting strict indoor air quality standards and international environmental regulations (e.g., REACH, RoHS).Reactive or highly efficient eco-friendly additive flame retardants are evenly dispersed within the PVC composite system. This enables the marquee fabric to readily achieve B1 or international UL94 flame-retardant standards, without significantly compromising physical properties or environmental performance.
